Euroformula Open – Jerez Report: Fioravanti catches another podium
3 November 2016
Jerez de la Frontera gives RP Motorsport a half smile as success was missed with Domenico Fioravanti. The main bearer of the italian team was on the third step of the podium in Race 1 and then retired after few turns in Race 2 because of an unfortunate contact. However he keeps intact the fifth overall place in the general drivers ranking.
Also Tatiana Calderon is back to the high ranks of the overall standings: the South American driver completed the Andalusian weekend with a sixth and seventh place. A top 10 placement for Tanart Sathienthirakul in Race 1, too. The Iberian weekend is to be forgotten, indeed, for the Polish Ptak and for the other “Thai boy” Kusiri.
The Euroformula Open will be back on track this weekend for the Season Final at Montmelò in Barcelona. A tasty occasion for the Silver Arrow’s bearers to close at their best also this last season of the European Championship, maybe the most follwed of the Formula 3.
