European F3 Open - Round 4 - Magny Cours Reports: Victory in Race 1 and Race 2 podium
Weekend to be framed for RP Motorsport at Magny Cours. After the excellent performance of Spa Francorchamps, the Italian team in France has been able to improve, going to pick up a splendid victory in Race 1 with a wild David Fumanelli. Kevin Ceccon most unfortunate however, relegated but the head start sixth after a drive through. Also to frame the performance of Biagio Bulnes (fourth), but only flaw Spaniard Pedro Quesada, tumbling wall.
With the grid Race 2 which was presented with the three F308 of RP first, third and sixth place, everything seemed set out for the better. Unfortunately it did not happen with Fumanelli penalized for early departure and blocked the traffic and the brawl in eighth place and Ceccon retired with a contact while Macleod was fighting for first place. The only happy note the wonderful podium Venezuelan Bulnes third arrival.
With our thoughts to summer break, the engines up again in September for the fifth round at Brands Hatch.
